Registration Instructions

This process is meant for IGIE members who wish to register students for the IGIE Foundation course.  It will also be used for future courses.  

1)      IGIE member collects demographic and registration information for the student.

a.       The IGIE member can use either the spreadsheet or send the information to the following e-mail address:  keller@cpcuiia.org           

2)      AICPCU enters information for student into our Blackboard system.

3)      At this point, AICPCU will assign a username and password to the student, then:

                                                               i.      AICPCU can directly e-mail the necessary access information to the student  OR

                                                             ii.      AICPCU can send the necessary access information to the member for delivery to the student.

4)      Student accesses the system as per the instructions sent by either member or AICPCU

a.       Note:  to access the system, the student goes to the following link and follows the instructions:

http://blackboard.aicpcu.org

5)      At the completion of the course, AICPCU will e-mail either the student with a congratulatory message or notify the member that the student has completed depending on the member’s wishes.

6)      If the student has not completed within one year of registration, the student will need to start the course over again.
