Global Cooperation
IEA is the oldest, most respected organization of its type in the United
States. It is a not-for-profit insurance training organization that has
supported insurance education since 1876. The Institutes programs it supports
(IIA programs and the CPCU designation) are known and respected worldwide. In
addition, IEA has awarded over 600 CPDM designations and over 5,000 WCCA
certificates and over 1000 WCCP designations. IEA is state-certified to offer
prelicensing and continuing education credit for agents and brokers.

IEA trains students to pass national exams leading to certificates and
designations, to receive IEA certificates and designations, to prepare for
state agent-broker license exams, to receive continuing education credit to
maintain designations and licenses and for ongoing professional development.
